setting the new standard for women in rock . . .
Patti Rothberg is a native of Westchester - she graduated from Scarsdale Alternative School (the experimental community school slightly smaller, slightly “hipper” than the larger Scarsdale High). After a stint with the all female industrial band Thrust (1993-94), she recorded her first solo album “Between The 1 And The 9”, which sold over 450,000 copies, with the single “Inside” reaching #32 on the Billboard Pop Charts. Together with her band, she toured the US supporting Chris Isaak, The Wallflowers, Midnight Oil and Paul Westerberg. She has appeared on the Tonight Show, Late Night with David Letterman. Recently, Patti completed “Double Standards”, a collection of new songs split between hard rock and heartfelt acoustic songs.
