South County plays "genuine foot-stompin', thigh-slappin', whiskey-sippin' music" with "contagious energy". Think The Felice Brothers meet The Band with a bit of Johnny Cash and Uncle Tupelo thrown in. In August 2012, South County was the featured artist for both WVUM's alt-country radio show "On The Trail" and The Barrelhouse Chronicles for their song, Elijah. In the last three years, they've recorded two records and played numerous regional festivals including the Take Me To The River, Lower East Side and Sarah Lawrence College Folk Festivals.
