FROGG CAFE is a 6 piece band from the New York metropolitan area making music that incorporates elements of Zappa-esque progressive rock, pop melodicism and fusion jazz. Frogg Café’s music is also peppered with an appealing variety of other flavors including latin music, bluegrass, modern chamber music and avant-garde/experimental. Their energetic live shows feature extended flights of group improvisation that would draw grins from any hardcore jam-band fan.
Known for their blistering live shows, SOUTH COUNTY plays "genuine foot-stompin', thigh-slappin', whiskey-sippin' music" with "contagious energy". Their music evokes The Felice Brothers, The Band, Uncle Tupelo and Deer Tick. In August 2012, South County was the featured artist for both WVUM's alt-country radio show "On The Trail" and The Barrelhouse Chronicles for their song, Elijah. Since 2010, they've recorded three records and played numerous regional festivals including the Take Me To The River, Lower East Side, Beale Street on South Street and Sarah Lawrence College Music Festivals. Welcome to the wonderful world of furiously feral folkabilly...
