Tribes Hill Opportunities, Invitations & Information
Dear Tribes Hill Community,
Listed below are a number of opportunities and invitations currently available to members:
1. "Tribes Hill Presents" at the Westchester County Center
2. Volunteer at the Mountain Stage New Song Festival

5. Post Your Gigs on the Tribes Hill Calendar
1. "Tribes Hill Presents" at the Westchester County Center
Tribes Hill will present 4 shows featuring 2 or more artists at the Westchester Indoor Farmers Market at the WestchesterCounty Center in White Plains, NY. Tribes Hill will receive $300. for each of these shows which will be divided samples of your music online.
Dates that you are available.
2. Volunteer at the Mountain Stage New Song Festival
Now in it's sixth year, the Mountain Stage New Song Contest is one of the nation's premier showcase of performing songwriters across all genres. A total of 12 finalists have been selected to perform in the international contest held in New York City on Saturday, September 22 as part of the River to River Festival, the Nation's largest free arts festival. Once again Tribes Hill will be supporting the Mountain Stage New Song Contest by sending volunteers to help out at the finals September 22, 2007 at the South Street Seaport in NYC.

3. Participate in NERFA Guerilla Showcase
NERFA 2007 is just around the corner; November 9, 10,11. Once again Tribes Hill will be hosting Guerilla Showcases in our room from midnight till 2am. If you are interested in participating please let us know by September 10, 2007.
Reply to this email and include the following information:
NERFA in the subject line.
Indicate whether you would prefer a 15 minute solo spot or a half hour shared spot in the round with two other artists.
Specify time preferences or restrictions.
You MUST be current in your Tribes Hill dues and be registered for the Conference to participate. We ask for a small donation to cover costs of food, beverages and a compilation CD produced exclusively for this event. We also ask for volunteer time at our tables in the exhibit hall.
The NERFA Guerrilla Showcase schedule will be posted on the Bulletin Board under EVENTS by September 30. The Exhibition Hall Schedule will follow.

4. Westchester Council for the Arts and NYSCA Grant Opportunity
Tribes Hill has the opportunity to apply for up to 3 grants from Westchester Council for the Arts for 2008. We are willing to act as a fiscal agent for a Tribes Hill artist interested in applying for an Arts Alive Artist Grant. You must reside in Westchester County and be at least 18 years of age to receive funds. For more information on the Grant application process please visit www.westarts.com. Go to programs, then Grants, then Arts Alive Artist Grants.
If you are interested please let us know asap. The deadline for submissions to West Arts is September 21.
5. Post Your Gigs on the Tribes Hill Calendar.
If you haven't already used our calendar to post your gigs here are the steps:
1. LOG IN (bottom right corner of home page)
2. NEED A LOGIN? (bottom of page, blue)
3. Fill in the form and submit.
* Because you are a member and already on our mailing list try using your email address as your user name also. SUBMIT. Enter your email. RECOVER. An automatic temporary password will be sent to your email.
LOGIN with the new temporary password.
Once you are logged in in the upper right corner go to Slab 500, edit my password. enter new password.
4. Go to CALENDAR. Go to NEW. Enter information into form. SUBMIT.
