Tribes Hill brings Kelleigh McKenzie and Spuyten Duyvil to Urban H2O this Saturday evening at the Beczak in Yonkers!

On Saturday night, January 16th at 7PM, join us by the roaring fire at the Beczak Environmental Education Center for UrbanH20's monthly music series when Beczak and Tribes Hill welcome the amazing Kelleigh McKenzie to our new music venue. Kelleigh is an intrepid banjo and guitar player and an amazing songwriter. She is the 2009 Independent Music Award WINNER for Best Americana Song - "Gin"  and the 2008 WINNER of the Mountain Stage NewSong Contest.

Spuyten Duyvil opens the show with 35 minutes of stompin' and hollerin'.

Oh, and by the way, the award winning Captain Lawrence Brewery is sponsoring this event, so your $10 admission at the door entitles you to amazing microbrew, guaranteed to enhance your listening experience. Bring your own mug, please...

This is a really important show as it marks the first monthly concert in this new venue and the culmination of efforts by many good folk to bring great live music to the Yonkers waterfront.

UrbanH20 continues on the 3rd Saturday night of each month in 2010 and features folk/roots/americana standouts:

Feb 20th: The Three Rix: Rik Palieri, Rick Nestler and Ricki Bala

March 20th: Joe Iadanza and his Beautiful Band with Kyle Swartzwelder

April 17th: Zoe Mulford with Monty Delaney

May 15th: Joe Crookston with Julie Corbalis

Beczak is conveniently located at 35 Alexander Street, Yonkers NY 10701 across the street from the Downtown Yonkers Metro North Station with ample free parking. Contact them at 914-377-1900. Kids are most welcome and the really cool Hudson River fish tanks are always a hit.
