Volunteers for Pleasantville

Dear Tribes Hill Members and Friends,

The 3rd Pleasantville Music Festival will be held on July 14, 2007 on Parkway Field in Pleasantville NY 10570. Once again Tribes Hill is a Pleasantville Music Festival Partner.  We encourage you to get involved and volunteer.

Please contact one of our volunteer coordinators:

Lisa McCullagh

Patrice Sobecki

Provide them with your name and contact information, and any particular interest areas. Let then know you are a member of Tribes Hill. Also let them know the best ways and times to contact you.

Volunteers do 98% of the work needed to run the festival (and there's a lot of work to be done). Whether you have a special skill or not, there's a place where your help would be of great value to the festival and the community. You just have to be at least 16 years old.

In return for your hard work, PMF volunteers receive a number of benefits, including free admission and a free PMF t-shirt. However, the real benefits are the fun and satisfaction of joining a team of civic-minded people as you work together to put on a great show. You don't have to work the whole day to qualify, many volunteers only work for a few hours on the day of the festival.

Taking tickets, carrying water and soda, helping move band equipment, helping at the first aid tent, keeping certain gates closed, directing people looking for parking, delivering food to other volunteers, giving other volunteers breaks, and many other activities.

The Pleasantville Music Festival is dedicated to hosting original music with an emphasis on regional performers. The PMF fosters a strong sense of community amongst the residents of the Village, its neighbors, the musicians and not-for-profit and non-profit charitable organizations. The Festival also seeks to enhance Pleasantville as a cultural destination.

We look forward to sharing the day with you!

Thank You,

Rick Rock,

Director, Tribes Hill
